COVID-19 Update-What’s what in the counts?

When we look at the cases counts and deaths in COVID-19 being reported many assume that those numbers reflect the actual cases in those counties. But that is NOT the case. COVID-19 cases are attributed to the county in which the individual person LIVES. Tourists or visitors not included.Their numbers get reported to their county of residency and not where they are at the time of outbreak.

Arizona residents deaths reach 73 with cases at 2,575
Coconino residents deaths are at 10 with 179 cases
Yavapai residents deaths reach 1 with 57 cases

All cases of COVID-19 are attributed to the county in which the individual person LIVES, not necessarily where the patient receives treatment.
